Why I finally built this site
Fifteen years of mobile apps and not one public note about any of it. Time to fix that.

I have been building mobile apps for about fifteen years. Banks, retailers, a national newspaper, a Bitcoin app, an education company in Switzerland. In all that time I never wrote anything public about the work.
Most of what I know I learned from other people's notes. Blog posts, GitHub issues, Stack Overflow answers written by someone who had the same problem before me. A library that stops compiling after an upgrade. An Android build that breaks because of the Gradle plugin version. A CI pipeline that fails and nobody knows why. Every time, the fix came from something somebody had taken the time to write down. This site is my way of doing the same.
What is here
My CV, at /cv, and the blog.
React Native is where I have spent most of my time, but the work has never been only that. In the last few years I have built backends in Node and TypeScript, admin panels in Next.js, telephony with LiveKit and Asterisk, firmware in C++ on ESP32 boards, and a voice AI that answers the phone for Italian businesses. I want to write about all of it: mobile, architecture and what it really costs on a team, testing, tooling like Fastlane, Bitrise and EAS, hardware, and the less technical side, like contracting, leading a team and mentoring.
AI is part of my daily work now, in two ways. I build with it: voice agents on Retell AI and on my own pipeline with LiveKit and ElevenLabs, retrieval with pgvector, prompts organised by platform, vertical and client. And I use it to build: Claude Code is open all day next to my editor, for code, reviews, scripts and infrastructure. This site was built that way too. I will write about what works, what does not, and how much of it I actually trust.
How I will write
Short posts about real problems, with the details in. When something did not work I will say so, because that is usually the part that helps.
If you think I got something wrong, my email is at the bottom of every page.
